Thank you for your interest in playing a show with us. We are a small town in East Tn located approximately an hour from places like Knoxville TN, Johnson City TN, and Cumberland Gap off I-40 and I-81. We started BACKPORCH PICKIN to give artists a safe and intimate place to connect with their listeners. It is a special place where music magic is known to happen! Our shows are open to all ages to allow for a family experience were otherwise may not be permitted. Whether you are passing through and need a place to rest or have a hot meal, or have a show booked we here at Rust Creek Forge work hard to give you a “home away from home” feel and an experience folks will long talk about.

We operate on ticket sales and do not offer a "Flat Fee". We do not guarantee ticket sales and we offer 40 tickets for a $800 max payout. We will promote the show through our website and on social media platforms. Artists are highly encouraged to help promote the show. We want to keep it Artist Choice by providing options for performances. You as the artists can:

1. Play a solo show

2. Bring along your own co-act

3. Ask us to help with finding an co-act

* Please note: if a shared bill the artists will be asked to come to an agreement for disbursement of earnings*

We have a small PA System, a couple different mics, and tables for use should it be needed. We consider ourselves as your host so meals and lodging will also be provided on the premises (couch, air mattress, tent, or parking for a small bus or van).
